about me: Loud voice, Gentle approach

I’m licensed in Missouri (LCSW) and Kansas (LSCSW). I also offer telehealth for Florida.

I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, actual KCMO.

While KCMO is still my home, my office is in Prairie Village, Kansas, right across the state line. You won’t even realize you’re in a different state!

Clinically, I’m trained in EMDR and CPT. I blend these approaches with deep, strengths-based relational work and attachment theory. I do this by listening to your story—and taking the time to get to the root of what really hurts.

I don’t pretend to be someone that I’m not, and I don’t expect you to either.

I practice through an intersectional lens. That means I care about how identity, trauma, oppression, and mental health overlap — and I never ask clients to leave parts of themselves at the door.

I do clinical work grounded in ethics, science, and experience. I am also real: I wear ripped jeans, I make pop culture references, and I don’t pretend to have it all together.

My job isn’t to “fix” you, because you are not broken. My job is to sit beside you, help you process safely, and remind you that you’re allowed to take up space.

Welcome to therapy with me—where you can express your raw emotions, without shame, without judgement.

“Make noise. Cause trouble. You may not win right away, but you'll sure have a lot more fun.”
